Class of 2015

Dear coach or scout,

I have been a starter on Varsity since sophomore year and have helped my team advance to the IHSA SWEET 16 for the past two seasons; the furthest any Illinois Jewish high school team has ever advanced.  I am dedicated to practicing my skills as I am in the gym everyday working on ball handling, shooting and defensive drills.  I also allocate time for cardio, core and strength training with established trainers.

As a sophomore --

  • Named underclassman National Player of the Year by JHA (Jewish Hoops America) in 2013.
  • Voted MVP of the Cooper Invitational Tournament in Memphis and led our team to the championship victory.
  • Earned Top Team Rebounder
  • Voted Team MVP

Just recently --

  • Named by the Illinois Basketball Coaches' Association to the 3rd Team  combined Class 1A and Class 2A All State.

Many coaches and scouts have expressed their belief that I am a candidate to play college basketball at the Division 1 level.

Attending CJHS requires the dedication to manage time properly as there is a double curriculum with very demanding classes.  I have demonstrated that I am able to set priorities and accomplish goals having done so for many years.  It is this precedent that will enable me to succeed in putting the required time to excel in college both academically and athletically.
